About Me

Video Game Maker In The Making

More than a job.

As a child, a family friend gifted me an old beat up Game Boy. As the years passed, my love for video games slowly grew with various consoles and web games, until truly blossoming when my father bought an Xbox 360 around 2010.

After completing a degree at the University of Waterloo in 2020, I struggled to find a career that I was truly passionate about. One day my 8 year old nephew showed me a game he made in one of his classes, and everything clicked. What I was passionate about and had been passionate about for years: Video Games!

Today I make games for my nephews, my friends, and myself. I’m learning how to make the games I want to see in the World.

Skill Monkey & Development Generalist

UI/UX Design

Experience with Draw.io, Figma, and Unity developing in-game interfaces and menu flows. Applying UX methods to evaluate user interaction.

Coding

Intermediate level C# coding and problem solving. Designing, developing, debuging, and optimizing scripts to adhere to the best game design practices.

3D Modelling & Texturing

Experience with Maya building and rigging 3D models. Creating UV maps and developing textures to integrate with standard shaders.

Environmental Design

Level planinng, building, and imported asset incorporation. Player guidance, lighting, and performance optimization

Sound Design

Experience recording, generating, and editing audio. Intermediate in producing interactive audio experiences, and writing music through MIDI.

Writing

Years of experience writing for TTRPGs. Proficient in developing character, conflict, and world building in game narratives.

2D Asset Creation

Proficient in using 2D art asset development tools and techniques to build game ready assets or concepts.
